FAQ

Upload a CSV with a header row, review the preview, and choose your resource path. Click Create REST API to get a hosted URL with your records already imported. You do not need to sign up or write backend code.

Yes. Your first CSV is imported as a CRUD route. To add another, open Dashboard β†’ Mock Rules, create a new CRUD route with a different resource path, and import your second CSV. You can then use both routes on the same endpoint. Storage and mock-rule limits are shared across the endpoint.

Your records remain available for the lifetime of the endpoint. Unclaimed free endpoints are cleaned up after 30 days from creation. Claiming extends retention to 90 days from the original creation date. Upgrade the endpoint to retain it beyond the Free plan retention period.

Yes. Use GET to read records, POST to add a record, PUT to replace it, PATCH to update selected fields, and DELETE to remove it. Changes persist between requests. Editing your original file does not update the API automatically.

Yes. Paid plans include a data editor where you can view, create, edit, and delete CRUD records, or paste JSON objects to add data without writing API requests.

The Free plan stores up to 50 objects per endpoint, shared across all CRUD resources, with a maximum of 1 KiB per object. It includes 50 requests per day and three mock rules. This tool creates one CRUD rule for your resource. Upgrade through the dashboard when you need more capacity.

By default, new records are rejected with HTTP 507 and a storage-limit error. Your existing records remain readable, editable, and deletable. Delete a record to free a slot, or upgrade to store 250 records or more. Paid plans start at $10 USD per endpoint.

The generated Free endpoint is public. Anyone with the API URL can read, update, and delete records. Only upload sample or non-sensitive data. Beeceptor creates a stateful CRUD API for your data. Upgrade and configure a required HTTP authentication header in the endpoint security settings to protect access.

Yes. The generated HTTPS API works with standard HTTP clients, including browser fetch, curl, Postman, and mobile applications. CORS support lets you call it from your frontend.
