1. Personal Information
    • Login: When you create an account or sign-in to Beeceptor, we ask you and store your basic information like your full name, email address, password, company, profile picture, social-account id (i.e. Github, Google), etc for the purpose of identification and personalized services.
    • Subscription: When you use Beeceptor, we may ask you to provide your name, billing & mailing addresses, email address and credit-card or other payment information for the purposes of fulfilling your subscription, sending you invoices, and contacting you about the expiry of your subscription. This information will be shared with our payment partners.
    • We collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to Beeceptor and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system, time spent on Beeceptor, referring/exit-pages, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information. We use this information to audit, monitor and further improve our services.
    • Account Deletion: You can reach us via support/contact-page for account deletion. To protect information from accidental or malicious destruction, we may maintain residual copies for a brief time period. But, if you delete your account, your information and content will be unrecoverable after that time.
    • Passwords: We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. We will never ask you for your password in any unsolicited communication.
    • You use the Service at your own risk, and you’re responsible for taking reasonable measures to secure your account.
  2. Sending requests to Beeceptor and routing
    • When you send a request to proxy/endpoint, Beeceptor logs information about the HTTP/HTTPs request to audit/monitor/track usage of an proxy/endpoint. This information includes HTTP Method, Request Path, Host, Headers, IP address, content size, content type, payload or body, etc. This information is logged to server logs (in plain text) and databases to help us rate limit requests. It is advised that you do not send your production keys/secrets to Beeceptor.
    • The free endpoints are public, and anyone having link to it can intercept and view requests. It is advised that you do not send your production keys/secrets to Beeceptor as we cannot guarantee protection of this information.
  3. Cookies: To enhance your experience on Beeceptor, all of the pages use "cookies". Cookies are small text files that we place in your computer's browser to store your preferences and identify sessions. Most browsers automatically accept cookies. You can set your browser options so that you will not receive cookies and you can also delete existing cookies from your browser.
  4. Disclosure of Personal Information: At Beeceptor we don't make money from ads. So we don’t collect data in order to advertise to you. We will not disclose, rent, sell or otherwise transfer your personal information without your consent, except as otherwise set out in this Privacy Statement.
  5. Sale of Business: We reserve the right to transfer any personal information we have about you in the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization or sale of assets for all or a portion of our business or assets to a third party acquirer.
  6. Legal: We may provide your personal information and audit/monitoring/usage data, in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise required by law.
  7. Marketing: You grant us your permission to send you marketing information about our product and service offerings, updates or notifications. We may combine personal information we received from you with publicly available outside records to enhance our ability to market products and services that may be of interest to you. We may use clear images in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. This helps us improve our email. You can also remove yourself from an e-mail marketing list by clicking the "unsubscribe" button that appears on our e-mails.
  8. External Links: We are not responsible for the content hosted and practices employed by websites or services linked to or from Beeceptor, including the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from Beeceptor to another website, our Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services.
  9. Changes to this Privacy Policy: We may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect the changes in our business and practices, and so you should review this page periodically. When we change the policy in a material manner we will let you know.
